This new high performance CMOS smartcamera is based on Sony IMX492 with an integrated Intel ATOM E3940 microprocessor; 4GB DDR3L and 32GB eMMC. A rich set of IO ports and an integrated optional 7P filter-wheel are included.

LASER POINTING CAMERA
Fully operative since April 2017 at ESO VLT in Paranal, Chile with new versions installed on Gemini North and IAC ORM Telescopes. The LPC is a compact system, including a telescope and a smart camera, used to assist a single or multiple Laser Guide Stars (LGS) Adaptive Optics (AO) system to precisely pointing the guide stars to the expected sky position.

ESO MOONS PROJECT
Astrel completed the production of 20 miniature Smart CMOS cameras commissioned by the INAF (Italian National Astrophysics Institute) for MOONS project of the ESO (European Southern Observatory) VLT (Very Large Telescope) on the Cierro Paranal, Chile.
